I painted
this work
en plein air over a couple of days in Heritage Park located in
Evergreen, Colorado. There were many trees obscuring this scene so I
eliminated them with my artistic chainsaw! I was drawn to the red roof and
the historical significance of this charming structure. This painting won a
Jurors Choice Award in the 2007 Paint, Shoot, Sculpt Show. |
